This course is a junior-level course on basic readings in political science. In this course, we will cover seminal works in political science; particularly, from the western world. Students will also have the opportunity to develop their English comprehension skill through weekly readings.
Describe important theories in the literature, as well as identifying the mechanisms behind them.
Critically evaluate the contributions and shortcomings of theories.
Summarize (at least briefly) how the extant literature contributes to the knowledge of political science and it can be applied to the contemporary political terrain.
